As you may know VESA is a standard for mounting monitors (and several other things too). Mostly its about a 75mm or 100mm set of holes on the back of a monitor to attach a mounting bracket to hang it on a wall. Pretty simple. Well I got some Dell monitors in and needed to mount them at a 45 degree angle, so I have the mount and when I try to attach it to the monitor the holes don’t line up. How can this be, we try several things before I have an idea. The bracket comes in two halves, what if they are spaced too far apart? I pull them apart and line up the holes that way, they fit!
There’s washers in the bracket to make it easier to rotate, but they space it out further, so I took them out. So after screwing the two halves onto the monitor I put it back together and tighten everything up, looks like it should work out just fine.
